ELECTROMECHANICAL ERA (1848 - 1940)

The discovery of ways to control and use the electricity.

Inventions:
  • Colossus machine: the first on electronic calculating devices. 

  • The voltaic battery which is considered the first source of stores electricity in the 8th century. 
  • Samuel F.J Morse invented the first magnetic telegraph in 1832, he also made an experiement version in 1815.
  • Telephone and Radio: The first succesful bi-directional transmission of clear speech was invented by Bell and Watson on March 10th, 1876.
  • Marchese Guglielmo Marconi invented the radiotelegraph.

  • MARK 1: the first complete turing computer, created by the IBM in Hardvard.
